Puteri Gunung Ledang

Puteri Gunung Ledang, also translated as Sushan Fairy and Lelangshan Princess, is a character in Malaysian legends. Her deeds are recorded in the classic novels Sejarah Melayu and Hikayat Hang Tuah. Among them, the most famous legend about her is that Sultan Mahmud of the Malacca Dynasty sent his subordinates to propose marriage to her.
